I'll Stop - I Swear

don't piss off the fairies

broken and abused find a home

concocted this last night
it's loud WoOt!

Discount roses at market,
they arrived too late at the store for Easter
 the gal said...5 bucks!
My mom's pitcher, older than me

talk about dappled light

Fell asleep out here last evening
on my new lounge.
I normally have to pay my yard guy 100.00
to come clean up in a day what took
me over a week to accomplish.
Dancing toward 60 isn't what it's cracked up
to be when it comes to chain saws and gutters.

So..in my head that means I had an extra 100.00
in the budget to splurge.
Saw a pretty decent padded lounge
in front of the market for 129.00
Right color, 6 adjustable positions

I grabbed it.
Don't know how to arrange the yard just yet,
this guy is big, but nap-a licious

I don't want my looming neighbors to be able to see
me sleeping out here..
yep, usually in mismatched pj's,
so it may stay crowded in this space for a bit.
Until it is too hot to nap.

I'll stop with the garden now - I swear
don't know what's come over me this year

Happy Birthday Chania
my dear friend
( go over to Razmataz and buy yourself a pretty bauble
your birthday is coming, you deserve it)
A good weekend wish for everyone

Z

Yes, PLEASE stop (not really, I can never tire of looking!)....you're making me feel VERY lazy and more than a wee bit jealous!

You won't stop and you know it.

It's what we do.

I tell myself I don't need any more wire baskets, but I bought one this week and one last week.

I would love a lounge in my garden. I sit and fall asleep when I would prefer lying down.

I had to break down and pay my neighbor's gardener to come work in my garden tomorrow. Heading toward the middle of 60, suffering from bursitis right now and my vacation ending on Monday means that it won't get done unless I get someone to do the big stuff.

Oh, my! The "broken and abused find a home" at MY house, too! How I like what you've done in your sweet yard area. If you lived closer to me, I'd happily rent out your new lounger for an hour or two at a time!

Can you come to my house now? It looks wonderful and well worth a lot of hard work! I love all the elements you put into it. Great post.xox-cindy

Thank you for the shout out!

if your garden gets any better I don't know what I'm going to do...if my little patio was fenced in I'd love to fix it up...I'm sad for me...happy for you :) I don't think I pissed off any faeries while looking around :D

LOVE that yella' chair...and the flowers are gorgeous. I love nothing more than sleeping outside, under a nice tree...of course, your yard is probably safer than mine!!!

Z I'm not sure I believe you are 'done' with the garden just yet...maybe all the heavy cleaning is done! Love the new lounger! We have two vintage wrought iron loungers and I'm hoping to get new cushions this year and redo my screened porch (where sleeping is wonderful with the ceiling fan also). I'm hoping to start back on my deck garden this coming week!

hugs, Linda

I won't get tired of hearing about your garden because it looks like I will never get out in mine. I love all your pieces and odds and ends...they are "you"! And I want a lounger like yours! We are right on top of the neighbors and I sit out and have my coffee in the morning in my raggedy PJ's all the time. That's their punishment for being so nosy.

Happy Weekend!

XO,
Jane

Boy after the week I've had, I could use a nap in that corner!

No need to stop - I'm loving the garden posts and who can blame you for taking a while to "get your eyes filled up" after all your hard work to make it look so beautiful! We, too, have to hire a few things now that we once would have done ourselves.

I love what you've done to the place! Looks so pretty and cozy, I wouldn't mind a nap out there either. Great job with a lot of hard work but it sure looks worth it. We haven't even started here...darn rain. Have a blessed Sunday dear.

Don't stop, we don't have garden weather here yet, so I am living vicariously through you! I love the old bottles hanging together, I'm hearing a little ping from the chime that they make. Your new lounger looks very comfy... lucky you! love, t.xoox

But, we all love garden pictures! A nap there sounds wonderful. Do any of your neighbors read your blog?!
